Diamine Classic Red Giveaway!

There will be no new posts for a while, because I am currently in Wyoming with my family to see Yellowstone National Park (yay!). So, to hold you over till then, how 'bout a giveaway?

I'm not really a red ink person. So this ink that was generously given to me by Diamine to review should go to someone who will actually use it, right?

Since I'm currently in a "red" state, I'll be sending out a bottle of Diamine Classic Red to one winner. The contest will end when I get back to my own state. (Isn't that a nice tie-in?)

Rules & details--

Prize up for grabs: Diamine Classic Red, 30 mL

Contest duration: Sunday August 15th to Friday August 27th, 10 AM EST

How to enter: My big summer trip this year was to Wyoming state to see Yellowstone National Park. What about you? Comment to this entry, and tell me where you went this summer Day trip to the local beach? Valid. A week in Costa Rica? Valid. An afternoon picnic in a nearby park? Valid. Antarctica? Valid. Basically, it doesn't have to be a huge exotic excursion to count. Just as long as it isn't your house :)

(Your living room? So NOT valid.)

Winner will be chosen by random draw when I get back.

  1. We went down to Gulf Shores, AL, for a family reunion and for my grandmothers 80th birthday party. The beach wasn't terribly oily, but it smelled funky.

In a month we are going camping in the Great Smoky Mountains! I've been going there since I was a kid, and continue the tradition for my own children now. I love the place.

  2. I took a good friend, a fountain pen newbie, to Miami for the weekend where we attended the Miami Pen Show. We had a blast!

  3. Classic Red sounds right up my alley... :) The most exotic place I went to this summer (that isn't my living room) was smalltown Michigan to visit my grandparents. It had been a few years since I'd last seen them, so it was good to see them again.

  4. We haven't been able to go out of town, but did recently go to a wildlife center, the Trinity River Audubon Center, which is only 15 minutes away. It was nice to get away from the city noise and traffic and be surrounded by wildlife habitats and learn about the work of the center.

"At 6,000 acres, the Great Trinity Forest supports a diverse community of plant and animal species and contains a unique mixture of bottomland hardwoods, aquatic and wetland systems and grasslands."

  5. I had to really scratch my head - all my vacation has been staycation and since I live on a nature sanctuary, it's pretty exotic to me. But I did take a drive down the Blue Ridge Parkway, one of the prettiest roadways in America. Fields of black-eyed susan, queen anne's lace, and chicory lined the road ... a most relaxing and lovely ride. So I guess I can put my name in the hat for a bottle of Red. I'm thinking I need to GO somewhere ....
